Let’s Keep Twitter Clean

Providing Choice To Tweeters

As I mentioned in the video, I find it a little annoying and presumptuous when people send me direct messages telling me to download this, download that, go here, buy this and so on…

There is no doubt that Twitter is a powerful tool for connecting with people but until we know someone, how do we know what they need and want?

This is just a simple page to introduce myself and to give people the choice to checkout what I do or not…

My Websites
I love checking out people’s websites to see what they do on the web. I’ve got quite a number of sites but below are sites that best represent what I do.

Attraction Marketing Series - This leads to a landing page where you can optin to get more information about the style of attraction marketing I do and what training resources I use. It’s delivered by Aweber which means you can unsubscribe anytime :).

Easy Renegade - This is my main blog where I write about anything to do with Internet marketing. I have quite a few video tutorials on all sorts of topics. I love WordPress and so I write about themes, plugins and wordpress hacks quite a bit.

Your Thank You Card - As I mentioned, one of my businesses is pyhsical greeting cards. This website is a collection of greeting cards I have personally designed and I also keep a greeting card journal where I document stories of different responses I get from my cards.

Renegade Aussie Youtube Channel - This is a collection of how-to screencasts as well as personal rants, raves and insights.

So What Do You Do?

I’d love to hear about you and what you do. You’ll notice that I use the Seesmic plugin which allows you to add a video response…if not, text is great too. Feel free to leave links to your websites as I’d love to get to know what you do (don’t leave sales pitches though, save them for another day :) ).

  • Thanks for stopping by Ontarian,

I checked out your website, very cool. Carl Ocab's Ultimate Blogging Theme is a rippa hey?
  • Hi Steve,

I am a student of Renegade Professional for almost 3 months now. With the trainings I have gotten from you, Ann and Mike, I feel like I know you already. This is a wonderful video of introduction and a true sense of self. It is my pleasure to be learning Wordpress from you through the Renegade Professional program. Although I have had some quirks in setting it up, I am determined to get it right and will look forward to putting your "Easy Renegade" website in my favorites for updates and help while I am setting up my WordPress Blog. I can't wait to get to my next class.. Until next time.

  • Hi Internet Strategist,

Thanks for popping by. I checked out your blog http://growmap.com, looks cool. I love the Thesis theme although I haven't used it yet. I could become a theme-a-holic if I'm not careful. I've got 3 premium themes so far.

You're on my Google reader radar now so I look forward to reading your work.

    Cheers,

    Steve Anderson
  • Hi Steve,

Found you through a link you left at Copyblogger and just finished sharing your Ever Feel Like Someone is Watching You post at Twitter, FriendFeed and cliKball. That explains one aspect of what I do online every day.

I also share what I research in various blogs. My primary blog at GrowMap is where I share proven strategies for growing businesses and blogs. I've saved that post to link it from that blog. I'll be back as time allows to look for other relevant links.

    Glad I came across you.
  • Thanks for your kind words Eric,

The Renegade community is a great one and looking at your website it's easy to see you are up to your elbows in marketing too...great stuff.
  • Steve,
You're really amazing. The more and more I discover about you, the more I marvel at your marketing savvy. There is so much to learn from you.

  • Hi Michelle,

I just made a subdomain and installed a blog theme on it just for this purpose. This is the only page on the blog. I'll do a video about it one of these day ;). Looking forward to working with you on the Renegade Pro project.

  • Steve, I have been through hours of your training in the renegade professional and you have taught me tons about my wordpress blog that someone set up for me. Thanks, Thanks,

  • Hi Steve,

    I am enjoying growing together.

I joined Ann's team last year and have been grateful every day since then, the reason being I love the Referral Marketing business model but I just couldn't quite get ahead.

Things have changed dramatically since last February, not only because of Ann but also because of my fellow Renegades like you and Ian.
One of these days I will get in front of the camera and create a video as well, you guys just make it look so easy!

I am very fortunate because I already have a good size team in Germany (where I am originally from). Currently I am focusing on teaching them all I have learned about attraction marketing.

I am also working on putting the finishing touches on my first ebook.

My passion is helping other moms to master it all.

My motto is: Play.Love.Share. There Is Enough To Go Around!

    Thanks for all you give!

    Steve,

This page is fantastic. I too am an avid Renegade student. Your site is full of useful content that I've been looking through.

While I've found that I'm not really interested in Network Marketing, I have found that I am a total Internet Marketing nut and enjoy teaching others how they can market their interests and passions.

My website is still in it's development stages and will host video tutorials of what I've spent the last couple of years learning through ebooks and other resources.

    Thanks Mike,

I'd love to catch up with you, any plans on a trip over west? I think I'll be living in sunny Perth by then...great spot.

Just for the record, Mike is the guy that pulled me up for sending a pitch in an automated message I used to send when people followed me. His comment was kind and as subtle as a sledge hammer at the same time.

We continued to go back and forth on Twitter and I always like to see what he has to say. Here's his Twitter address https://twitter.com/mikecj, he's a good one to follow, always adds value (and tells it like it is).

Mike's one comment was enough to make me understand the real purpose of Social Media so I feel ever grateful.
  • Hi Steve. That is such a good welcome message. Nice one, mate!
The snowy mountains look fab. Our best mates moved to Australia last year, and we're coming over to see them in Brisbane later this year. Also want to come down south, so maybe we can say hi.
  • Hi Steven,
I loved seeing the mountains and your fishing pictures! It reminds me of that movie I have with Kirk Douglas. I'm glad you are talking about the Twitter problem. I hope things will "clean" up a bit when people understand how to be a more attractive marketer. Thanks for your thoughts. I'll see you on Twitter. Becky Joubert
  • This page is fantastic - I've got to get one!!!
